MORGAN GATE DENTAL

After more than 25 years in his first location, Dr. Velonas set out to build his dream clinic. The project included the creation of an entirely new brand and the design of a new, state-of-the-art clinic. Having the opportunity to help select the new location, and design every aspect of the build from the ground up, meant that I could ensure brand integrity at every level.

I wanted to create a space that put patients at ease in the way that a favourite hotel or spa might. I wanted the space to feel aspirational with a focus on the personal care side of dentistry rather than a scary trip to the doctor. Restricting possible visual triggers for patients with a fear of the dentist was an integral part of brick and mortar design.

For the Morgan Gate Dental brand I created a custom font and a happy face emblem to give the brand some warmth. The marketing and brand assets all have a sense of humour about them. Dr. Velonas leads his team like a family, creating an atmosphere with a refreshing levity. I wanted the brand to reflect that sense of humour and lightheartedness.
